IP-camera Instar IN-9820 4K – zwart, 180° gezichtsveld

Instar IN-9820 4K in black is an IP camera with a 180° field of view designed for wide-area monitoring. The camera records ultra-high-definition footage at 4K resolution and delivers a single-image coverage of broad interiors such as large rooms, corridors and entrance areas. Its optical design reduces the need for multiple fixed cameras while preserving detail across the scene, allowing clearer identification and situational awareness in a compact form factor suitable for indoor and sheltered outdoor placement.

Advantages

The 4K sensor provides high pixel density for fine-detail capture across a 180° panoramic view, reducing blind spots and stitching requirements. The camera’s wide-angle optics simplify installation by covering large areas from a single mounting point. Built for networked use, it supports continuous or event-based recording and integrates with common IP surveillance systems. The black finish offers a discreet appearance in interior installations.

Suitable for

• Monitoring large rooms and open-plan interiors
• Surveillance of hallways and entrance zones
• Retail floor coverage and point-of-sale oversight
• Reception areas and lobbies where single-unit coverage is preferred

Key specifications

• Image resolution: 4K ultra-high-definition for detailed video
• Field of view: 180° panoramic coverage
• Mounting: wall or ceiling mounting suitable for indoor and sheltered outdoor locations
• Network: IP camera with standard network connectivity for integration into surveillance systems
• Design: compact black housing intended for discreet placement

How to use

Install the camera at a location that provides the desired panoramic coverage, typically mounted on a wall or ceiling to maximize the 180° field of view. Connect the camera to the local network and configure basic settings such as resolution, recording mode and motion detection through the camera’s web interface or compatible NVR software. Adjust orientation and optical settings as needed to minimise distortion at image edges and to prioritise areas of interest within the panoramic frame.

Recommendations

For best results, place the camera at a height and angle that balance overall coverage with subject detail—higher mounting increases coverage area while lower mounting improves facial or object detail. Use network recording devices or cloud services for continuous retention and configure event-triggered recording to conserve storage. Avoid fully exposed outdoor installations; the camera is intended for indoor or sheltered outdoor environments.
