Krimpkous DeLOCK 18985

The DeLOCK 18985 heat shrink tube is a 2-meter long polyolefin sleeve with a maximum diameter of 2 cm, designed to insulate and protect cables, wires and electrical tubing. When heated, the tube contracts to form a tight, protective covering that reduces exposure to weather and mechanical damage while providing reliable electrical insulation.

Advantages

The polyolefin construction offers good electrical insulation and mechanical resistance. At 2 meters length and a maximum diameter of 2 cm, the sleeve accommodates a variety of cable sizes and provides a secure fit after shrinking. The black colour provides a discreet finish for wiring installations.

Suitable for

• Repairing and insulating electrical wires
• Protecting cable joints and splices
• DIY electronics and home electrical projects
• Organizing and reinforcing cable bundles

Key specifications

• Brand: DELOCK
• Model / MPN: 18985
• EAN: 4043619189854
• Material: Polyolefin
• Colour: Black
• Length: 2 m
• Maximum diameter before shrinking: 2 cm

How to use

Slide the heat shrink tube over the cable or joint so it fully covers the area to be protected. Apply heat evenly (for example with a heat gun, hot air tool or lighter at a safe distance) until the tube contracts and conforms to the cable. Allow the sleeve to cool and verify that it is snug and fully sealed around the wire.

Recommendations

Avoid overheating and keep a safe distance when using open flames. For consistent results use a temperature-controlled heat gun and ensure the tube size matches the cable before heating.
