Luidsprekerkabel ShiverPeaks 06-18076 1,5 mm², 10 m lengte

ShiverPeaks 06-18076 speaker cable with a 1.5 mm² conductor cross-section and 10 m length is designed to connect loudspeakers to amplifiers, receivers or passive audio equipment. The cable uses a multi-strand conductor construction suitable for short-to-medium runs in home audio, stereo and basic multiroom installations. Its white jacket and 10-metre length make it convenient for visible routing along baseboards or behind furniture while keeping signal transfer reliable for typical consumer audio power levels.

Advantages

This speaker cable offers a balanced conductor area of 1.5 mm² which provides lower resistance than thinner leads, improving power delivery to loudspeakers over short and medium distances. The multi-strand construction increases flexibility for easier installation around obstacles and inside trunks. A 10 m length covers most room-to-room and living-room layouts without requiring additional joints, and the neutral white outer sheath allows discreet placement in light-coloured interiors.

Suitable for

• Connecting bookshelf or floorstanding speakers to home amplifiers and AV receivers
• Short-to-medium run speaker connections in living rooms and home theatres
• Multiroom or stereo setups where moderate conductor size is required
• Temporary installations, demos, and trade-show audio setups

Key specifications

• Conductor cross-section: 1.5 mm²
• Length: 10 m
• Conductor type: multi-strand (copper-clad aluminium construction noted in manufacturer details)
• Outer sheath colour: white
• Intended use: speaker-to-amplifier connections for short and medium cable runs

How to use

Strip approximately 8–12 mm of the outer insulation to expose the conductor strands, twist the strands to prevent fraying and terminate with suitable speaker connectors or banana plugs if required. Ensure correct polarity by matching the positive and negative terminals on both amplifier and speaker ends. Route the cable away from power cords and large appliances to minimise potential interference. Secure the cable with cable clips or adhesive channels to prevent movement and accidental disconnection.

Recommendations

For best results use this 1.5 mm² speaker cable for runs up to medium distances within rooms; for longer runs or high-power systems consider larger conductor cross-sections. When installing, confirm integrity of terminations and avoid tight bends that could damage the conductor or insulation.
