• Type: Designed for lectern and vocal use with focused pickup
• Construction: Durable housing for regular professional and semi-professional use
• Noise handling: Low handling and ambient noise sensitivity for clearer speech capture
• Compatibility: Works with standard audio interfaces, mixers, and most computer recording software

How to use

Connect the microphone via XLR to a mixer or audio interface for professional setups, or use the USB port for direct connection to a computer for podcasting and streaming. Position the microphone at an appropriate distance from the speaker’s mouth to balance proximity and ambient sound—typically 10–20 cm for clear speech. Adjust input gain on the interface or computer to avoid clipping while keeping the signal strong. Use a stand or lectern mount to minimize handling noise and maintain consistent placement during sessions.

Recommendations

For best results, use the XLR output when recording into a multi-channel setup or when external preamps are available; choose USB for convenient single-source computer recording. Employ a pop filter or windscreen to reduce plosives, and monitor levels with headphones while adjusting gain. Regularly check connections and keep the microphone securely mounted to ensure stable, repeatable recordings.
