Netwerkkabel Digitus CAT 6A S/FTP RJ-45 3m groen

The Digitus CAT 6A S/FTP RJ-45 3m Green patch cord is a high-performance network cable designed for reliable data transmission in industrial and commercial environments. It features an oil- and UV-resistant PUR (polyurethane) sheath, copper conductors and molded boots with kink protection, strain relief and latch protection. The cable is PoE+ ready and is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 6A specifications with performance verified up to 500 MHz.

Advantages

The PUR sheath provides resistance to oil and ultraviolet exposure while offering self-extinguishing fire behavior. S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and the RJ-45 connectors with molded boots include kink protection, strain relief and latch protection to improve mechanical reliability. Compliance with ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 ensures channel-level performance for Cat6A installations and testing up to 500 MHz validates parameters such as NEXT.

Suitable for

• Industrial network installations requiring oil- and UV-resistant cabling
• PoE+ powered devices such as access points, IP cameras and VoIP phones
• Data centers, server rooms and structured cabling in commercial buildings
• Workstations and network endpoints needing Cat6A performance over 3 m

Key specifications

• Standard: Category 6A (Class E A), ISO/IEC 11801, DIN EN 50173
• Shielding: S/FTP (shielded foil with individual pair shielding)
• Conductor material: Copper (Cu)
• Sheath: PUR (polyurethane), oil- and UV-resistant, self-extinguishing
• Connector: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with molded boot, kink protection, strain relief, latch protection
• Length: 3 m
• Color: Green
• Performance tested up to: 500 MHz
• PoE+ ready

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (switch, router or PoE injector) and the other plug to the endpoint (PC, camera, access point). Ensure the connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks and route the cable to avoid tight bends; the molded boot provides kink protection and strain relief to maintain connector integrity. For industrial installations, mount and secure the cable away from moving parts and sources of mechanical damage.

Recommendations

Use this Digitus CAT 6A S/FTP cable for runs up to 3 m where Cat6A performance, interference protection and resistance to oil/UV exposure are required. Avoid exposure to temperatures or chemicals beyond the PUR sheath specifications and do not exceed recommended bend radius near the connector to preserve performance.
