Netwerkkabel Digitus CAT 6A S/FTP RJ-45 Cat6a 1,5m grijs

DIGITUS Category 6A Class EA patch cords are designed to meet ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 6A specifications, providing reliable network performance up to 500 MHz. The cables feature copper conductors, LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath for improved fire behaviour and reduced smoke emission, and transparent yellow connectors with metal shielding for easy identification of Category 6A.

Advantages

LSZH sheath reduces toxic and corrosive gases in case of fire while maintaining required mechanical protection. Transparent yellow, metal-shielded plugs allow quick visual identification of Category 6A cabling. Molded boots include kink protection, strain relief and a latch protector that prevents damage to the latching lever. Cables are PoE+ ready and tested to ensure performance characteristics such as NEXT up to 500 MHz.

Key specifications

• Standard: ISO/IEC 11801, DIN EN 50173 (Category 6A / Class EA)
• Frequency range: up to 500 MHz
• Conductor material: Copper (Cu)
• Sheath: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Connector: transparent yellow plug with metal shielding
• PoE: PoE+ ready
• Cable features: molded boot with kink protection, strain relief and latch protector

How to use

Connect the DIGITUS Category 6A patch cord between compatible RJ45 ports on network devices, ensuring the latch engages securely. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; the molded boot provides additional protection but standard cable management practices should be followed. Verify network performance after installation to confirm compliance with channel requirements.

Recommendations

Use these patch cords within structured cabling systems designed for Category 6A/Class EA to achieve optimal 500 MHz performance; combine with certified Category 6A components and proper installation practices for reliable PoE+ operation.
