Netwerkkabel Goobay 74347 RJ-45 Cat8.1 2m grijs

The Goobay 74347 is a 2 m Cat8.1 networking cable designed for high-performance data connections. With U/FTP (STP) shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors on both ends, the cable offers improved signal integrity and reliable connections. Its super-slim construction, soft TPE jacket and slim copper conductors reduce bulk in server cabinets and patch panels while improving air circulation and lowering heat build-up compared with conventional cabling.

Advantages

The slim design with extra-short connectors minimises material volume and helps improve airflow in densely cabled environments. U/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference for stable transmission, and gold-plated RJ-45 plugs ensure corrosion-resistant contact. The soft TPE jacket and flexible copper conductors provide good handling and installation ease.

Suitable for

• High-speed network links in home and small office environments
• Server cabinets and patch panels where space and airflow are critical
• Short to medium cabling runs requiring shielded connections
• 10/100/1000Base-T(X) Ethernet connections

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (switch, router or network card) and the other end to the corresponding port on the opposite device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Use the 2 m length to route the cable without excessive bending; avoid tight kinks and sharp edges. For installations in server cabinets, route the cable through appropriate management panels to maintain airflow.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8.1 U/FTP cable for short to medium runs where shielding and reduced cable bulk are required. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and high temperatures; maintain bend radius recommended for Ethernet cables to preserve performance.
