Netwerkkabel Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 7,5 m blauw

The Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) networking cable, 7.5 m in length and finished in blue, provides a reliable physical connection for Ethernet networks. Designed for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) applications, it has RJ-45 connectors on both ends and shielding that improves signal integrity for high-speed data transmission in home and office environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP (also called PIMF) construction combines an overall foil shield with individually foil-wrapped pairs to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. The RJ-45 terminations ensure wide compatibility with switches, routers, network cards and patch panels. A 7.5 m length gives flexibility for typical desk-to-switch or wall-to-device routing without excessive slack. The blue jacket provides visual identification within cable bundles and network racks.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs or workstations to switches or routers
• Patch connections in home or small office network cabinets
• High-speed LAN applications up to Gigabit Ethernet
• Temporary or permanent point-to-point links between network devices

Key specifications

• Length: 7.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cabling standard: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually foil-wrapped pairs / PIMF)
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your source device and the other into the target network device such as a switch, router or wall jack. Ensure connectors click into place and inspect that the cable runs are free from sharp bends, heavy compression or close proximity to high-voltage power lines to maintain performance. For installations within racks or cabinets, secure the cable with appropriate ties or organizers to avoid strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this CAT6 S/FTP cable for Gigabit Ethernet and typical office or home networking. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-power electrical cabling for extended distances, and respect bend radius recommendations to preserve signal quality.
