Netwerkkabel M-Cab 7,5 m RJ-45 Cat7 blauw S/FTP

The M-Cab 7.5m RJ-45 Cat7 Blue S/FTP networking cable from EFB Elektronik is a 7.5 metre shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed wired connections. It uses Cat7 performance class wiring with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to ensure stable signal transmission, reduced electromagnetic interference and durable contact surfaces. The cable's blue jacket provides easy identification in mixed-cable installations and the length suits intermediate runs between switches, routers and end devices in homes and offices.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded twisted pairs to improve protection against crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs maintain low contact resistance and resist corrosion, helping preserve connection quality over time. The Cat7 construction supports high data rates and consistent performance for applications requiring reliable wired networking. The 7.5 m length provides flexible placement without excess slack in typical desk-to-switch or patch-panel runs.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between PC, NAS, router and network switch
• Home and small office wired local area networks
• Streaming high-definition video and low-latency online gaming
• Patch runs to wall outlets and patch panels in structured cabling
• Temporary or permanent connections where reduced interference is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Length: 7.5 m
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the Ethernet port on your device and the other plug to the corresponding port on a router, switch or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and protect it from being pinched by furniture or doorways. If used in a rack or patch-panel environment, label both ends as needed for easy identification.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines over long distances; cross them at right angles if necessary. Use cable management such as clips or cable ties to maintain gentle bends and prevent strain on the RJ-45 connectors. Inspect connectors periodically for dust or damage and replace the cable if the jacket or plugs are physically compromised.
