Netwerkkabel Sharkoon Patch SFTP RJ-45 Cat.7a 7,5 m rood

The Sharkoon Patch SFTP RJ-45 Cat.7a 7.5m in red is a shielded network cable designed for high-speed wired connections. Compliant with Cat.7a specifications, it supports data transfer rates suitable for modern home and small-office networks. The 7.5 meter length provides extended reach between devices while the SFTP (shielded foil twisted pair) structure reduces electromagnetic interference for more consistent throughput. The cable uses standard RJ-45 connectors compatible with routers, switches, network cards and other Ethernet-enabled devices.

Advantages

The SFTP shielding combines foil and overall braid to minimize crosstalk and external interference, helping to maintain stable connections in environments with multiple electronic devices. Cat.7a performance enables support for up to 10 Gbps speeds on compatible equipment and high-frequency operation, while the durable jacket and molded strain relief improve longevity under regular handling. The red color aids cable identification in multi-cable installations.

Suitable for

• Wired gaming setups requiring low-latency, stable connections
• High-definition streaming between media devices and network nodes
• Desktop-to-router or switch connections in home and small office networks
• Cable runs where clear color-coding simplifies management

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.7a (high-frequency shielded Ethernet)
• Connector type: RJ-45 compatible with standard Ethernet ports
• Shielding: SFTP (foil around pairs with overall braid)
• Maximum supported data rates: up to 10 Gbps on appropriate hardware
• Cable length: 7.5 meters
• Jacket color: red

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (router, switch or network card) and the other end to the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sharp kinks; maintain gentle curves and secure the cable with clips or ties if needed. For best performance, keep the cable separated from mains power cables and strong electromagnetic sources.

Recommendations

Use the Sharkoon Cat.7a SFTP cable for critical wired links where shielding and stable throughput are important. Match the cable with 10 Gbps-capable network interfaces and switches to take full advantage of bandwidth. Inspect connectors periodically for debris and avoid excessive bending at connector ends to preserve signal integrity.
