Optische audiokabel ShiverPeaks 69012-1.5 Toslink (optisch) stekker naar 3,5 mm bus, 1,5 m, 2,2 mm kabel

The ShiverPeaks optical audio cable 69012-1.5 adapts a standard Toslink (optical) connector to a 3.5 mm optical jack over a 1.5 m length. Designed for digital audio transmission, this compact cable features a 2.2 mm diameter optical fiber core and connectors that allow connection between devices such as soundbars, TVs, home audio systems and portable DACs that use a 3.5 mm optical input. The cable preserves the benefits of optical transmission by avoiding electromagnetic interference and delivering a clean digital signal for compatible devices.

Advantages

This optical cable provides a direct optical-to-3.5 mm link without electrical grounding issues and maintains signal integrity over short runs. The 1.5 m length balances reach and compactness for typical home and portable setups. Its slim 2.2 mm cable profile simplifies routing behind furniture and equipment racks while standard Toslink and 3.5 mm optical connectors ensure compatibility with common consumer audio equipment that supports optical audio through a mini-jack interface.

Suitable for

• Connecting a TV or set-top box with Toslink output to a speaker, DAC or amplifier with a 3.5 mm optical input
• Linking soundbars and home theatre systems to devices with mini optical jacks
• Portable audio setups where a compact optical cable is required
• Setups requiring immunity to electromagnetic interference for digital audio

Key specifications

• Cable type: optical fiber (Toslink to 3.5 mm optical)
• Length: 1.5 m
• Cable diameter: 2.2 mm
• Connector A: standard Toslink optical plug
• Connector B: 3.5 mm optical (mini-Toslink) jack
• Intended signal: digital optical audio

How to use

Power off both source and sink devices before connecting to avoid accidental short-term noise or clicks. Insert the Toslink plug into the optical output of the source device and the 3.5 mm optical plug into the optical input of the receiving device; connectors are keyed and only fit in the correct orientation. After securing both ends, power on the devices and select the appropriate digital audio input on the receiving device. No additional drivers or power are required for passive optical transmission.

Recommendations

Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling on the 2.2 mm fiber cable to prevent attenuation or breakage; route the cable with gentle curves and keep it away from high-traffic areas to reduce mechanical stress.
