Schroef Cimco 190043 — gegalvaniseerd metaal, 50 mm lengte, 4,5 mm schroefdraaddiameter, voor vezelplaten, 1 stuk

Single cimco 190043 screw made of galvanized metal, 50 mm long with a 4.5 mm thread diameter, designed for use in fibreboard. This fastening element is intended for joining and fixing fibreboard panels in furniture assembly and interior fittings. The galvanized surface provides corrosion resistance for extended service life and consistent holding power in indoor applications.

Advantages

The galvanized metal finish reduces the risk of rust and increases durability when used in typical interior environments. The 50 mm length and 4.5 mm thread diameter offer a balance between penetration depth and shear strength for secure connections in fibreboard. Supplied as a single piece, the screw is suitable for small repairs, sample installations, or situations where individual fasteners are required.

How to use

Select an appropriate pilot hole size for the fibreboard to reduce splitting and ensure correct thread engagement; a pilot hole slightly smaller than the core diameter of the screw is recommended. Use a compatible screwdriver or a powered driver with the correct bit to insert the screw straight into the pilot hole at moderate speed. Apply steady pressure and avoid over-torquing to prevent stripping the thread or damaging the fibreboard. For blind joints or where a flush finish is required, countersink the head slightly before full insertion.

Recommendations

For best results in fibreboard, pre-drill pilot holes and avoid excessive torque. Use screws with appropriate length and spacing for load-bearing joins, and store the screw dry to maintain the galvanized finish. When working near edges, increase pilot-hole distance from the edge to reduce splitting risk.
