Schroef Cimco 190100 – verzinkte metaalschroef voor vezelplaten, 30 mm lengte, 4 mm schroefdraaddiameter, 1 stk.

Single Cimco 190100 screw made of galvanized metal, designed specifically for fastening fibreboard panels. The screw is 30 mm long with a 4 mm thread diameter and is supplied as one piece per pack. Galvanized corrosion-resistant coating and a geometry suitable for wood-based materials make it appropriate for furniture assembly and light joinery where a discreet, reliable fastener for fibreboard is needed.

Advantages

The galvanized finish provides enhanced resistance to rust and moisture compared with untreated steel, helping maintain joint integrity over time. The 4 mm thread diameter and thread profile are optimized to cut and hold in fibreboard without excessive splitting or tearing. A 30 mm length offers sufficient penetration for typical panel thicknesses used in furniture and shelving while keeping the screw head close to the surface for a neat appearance.

How to use

Select an appropriate pilot hole diameter for the fibreboard density to reduce splitting; in many cases a small pilot hole or countersink improves accuracy and prevents surface blowout. Position the screw and drive it with a compatible screwdriver or drill at moderate speed, applying steady pressure until the head sits flush or slightly recessed depending on the desired finish. Avoid over-tightening to prevent crushing the fibreboard around the thread.

Recommendations

For best results in load-bearing or highly stressed joints, combine with adhesive specified for engineered wood and consider using two screws spaced to distribute load. Store in a dry environment to preserve the galvanized coating and verify compatibility with any surface treatments or coatings applied to the fibreboard.
