Schroef Cimco 190101 — verzinkte metaalschroef voor vezelplaten, 35 mm lengte, 4 mm schroefdraaddiameter, 1 stuk

Single Cimco 190101 screw made of galvanized metal, designed for fastening in fibreboard. This 35 mm long screw with a 4 mm thread diameter offers corrosion-resistant properties due to its galvanised finish and is supplied as one piece per pack. It is intended for use where a standard thread profile and moderate holding power in fibreboard materials are required, such as general furniture assembly and internal joinery.

Advantages

The galvanized coating increases resistance to rust in normal indoor environments and during brief exposure to moisture. A 35 mm length provides sufficient penetration into typical fibreboard thicknesses without protruding on the far side in common furniture panels. The 4 mm thread diameter matches standard fastening requirements for medium-density particle boards and allows for consistent torque and grip during installation. Supplied as a single unit, it is suitable for repair jobs or small-scale assemblies where individual fasteners are needed.

How to use

Select an appropriate screwdriver or power driver that matches the screw head type. If installing into dense fibreboard, pre-drill a pilot hole slightly smaller than the 4 mm thread diameter to reduce splitting and ensure accurate alignment. Drive the screw until the head is flush or slightly countersunk with the panel surface; avoid over-tightening to prevent crushing the fibreboard. For repeat installations, check the holding performance and replace the screw if threads become damaged.

Recommendations

Use indoors or in sheltered environments to maintain the galvanized coating. For long-term or exterior exposure, consider a fastener with specific outdoor corrosion resistance. When assembling load-bearing joints, combine screws with appropriate fittings or adhesives according to the project requirements.
