Schroef Cimco 190111 — verzinkte metaalschroef voor vezelplaten, 40 mm lengte, 4,5 mm schroefdraaddiameter, 1 stuk

The cimco 190111 screw is a single galvanized metal fastener designed for use with fibreboard and similar composite panels. With a length of 40 mm and a 4.5 mm thread diameter, this screw provides a reliable mechanical connection for joining or fixing panels where a corrosion-resistant coating is desirable. Supplied as one piece, it is intended for tasks requiring individual or small-quantity fastening solutions.

Advantages

Galvanized surface treatment offers enhanced corrosion resistance compared to untreated steel, extending service life in indoor and sheltered outdoor environments. The 4.5 mm thread diameter balances holding strength and ease of driving into fibreboard materials, while the 40 mm length is suitable for secure penetration without excessive protrusion. The single-piece supply allows precise counting for small projects, repairs, and replacement tasks.

How to use

Select a compatible driver or screwdriver bit matching the screw head type and set an appropriate driving torque to avoid over-tightening, which can damage fibreboard. Pre-drilling a pilot hole with a diameter slightly smaller than the screw's core can help ensure accurate alignment and reduce the risk of splitting the panel. Drive the screw until the head is flush with or slightly below the surface as required by the application.

Recommendations

For best results, use with pre-drilled holes when working near edges of fibreboard or in thin panels. Store in a dry place to preserve the galvanised coating and avoid prolonged exposure to harsh outdoor conditions that could eventually affect corrosion resistance.
