Takkenzaag Silky F180 18 cm roestvrij staal 180 g

Consider the Silky F180 Professional folding saw as a compact, cost‑effective pruning saw for gardeners and outdoor projects. It features an 18 cm stainless steel blade (1.1 mm thick) and a lightweight fiberglass‑reinforced polypropylene handle with a rubber insert for a secure grip. The saw locks in two angle positions and is designed to cut green wood branches and small firewood efficiently while weighing approximately 180 g.

Advantages

The Silky F180 combines a durable stainless steel blade with a lightweight handle construction to deliver precise cuts with low user fatigue. Its two locking angle positions improve cutting ergonomics, and color‑coded handles distinguish tooth configurations (red for coarse 6.5 tpi, yellow for fine 12 tpi). The compact foldable design makes the saw easy to carry and store.

How to use

Open the folding saw and lock it in the desired angle position before cutting. Select the appropriate tooth configuration for the task: use the 6.5 tpi coarse blade for pruning and green wood, or the 12 tpi fine blade for harder, drier wood. Hold the handle with a firm grip and use smooth, controlled strokes, allowing the blade teeth to do the work. Fold and lock the blade closed after use for safe storage.

Recommendations

Keep the blade clean and dry after use, and store the saw folded to protect the edge. For best performance, choose the coarse 6.5 tpi for live wood pruning and the 12 tpi for dry or harder wood. Inspect the locking mechanism periodically and avoid forcing the blade beyond its intended limits.
