TP-Link AC1200 Deco Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi systeem, 2-pack

The TP-Link Deco E4 (2-pack) is a whole-home mesh Wi‑Fi system that delivers dual-band AC1200 performance to cover up to 2800 sq. ft. Each unit supports Wi‑Fi 5 (802.11ac) and combines wireless connections with optional Ethernet backhaul to extend stable coverage across multiple rooms. Deco units work together under one network name to provide seamless roaming and automatic handoff as devices move around the home.

Advantages

Deco E4 eliminates Wi‑Fi dead zones and supports connections for up to 100 devices with combined speeds up to 1167 Mbit/s. The system can operate as a router or as an access point depending on your network setup, and internal antennas provide a clean, compact design. Built‑in parental controls and industry certifications (RoHS, CE, FCC) ensure basic security and compliance for home use. All Deco models are compatible, allowing you to expand coverage by adding additional units.

How to use

Connect one Deco unit to your modem via Ethernet and place the second unit in a central location to extend coverage. Power on both units and follow the TP‑Link Deco app instructions to create a single Wi‑Fi network name (SSID). Choose Router mode for a primary network or Access Point mode to integrate with an existing router. For faster backhaul between units, connect them with Ethernet cables where possible; otherwise they will form a wireless mesh automatically.

Recommendations

Place Deco units on open shelves or elevated surfaces away from large metal objects and microwaves to reduce interference. For best performance, position units where signal must pass between floors or through thick walls and add additional Deco units to expand coverage as needed.
