UV-filter Walimex pro slank Super DMC 67mm — 67 mm schroefdraad, slank profiel, antireflectiecoating

Walimex pro Slim Super DMC 67mm UV filter protects the lens surface and reduces ultraviolet haze in outdoor and landscape photography. Designed for lenses with a 67 mm thread, the filter has a slim profile to minimize vignetting on wide-angle optics and a multi-coated DMC anti-reflective surface to improve light transmission and reduce reflections.

Advantages

The slim 67 mm thread design reduces the risk of darkening at the corners when used on wide-angle lenses while maintaining full coverage of the front element. The DMC multi-coating lowers internal reflections and ghosting, helping to preserve contrast and color fidelity. As a UV filter, it provides a basic optical improvement by reducing ultraviolet haze and also serves as a protective barrier against dust, fingerprints and minor impacts.

Suitable for

• Outdoor and landscape photography where UV reduction improves clarity
• Wide-angle lenses with a 67 mm filter thread that require a slim profile to avoid vignetting
• Everyday lens protection during travel and fieldwork
• Photographers who need reduced reflections and improved light transmission

Key specifications

• Filter type: UV filter
• Thread size: 67 mm
• Profile: slim / low-profile design
• Coating: DMC multi-coated anti-reflective surface
• Primary function: reduce ultraviolet haze and protect front element

How to use

Screw the Walimex pro Slim Super DMC 67mm UV filter onto the front thread of a compatible lens (67 mm). Ensure the filter is clean and free of dust before attachment and tighten by hand until secure; avoid over-tightening. For best optical results, keep the filter surface clean using a soft microfiber cloth and appropriate lens cleaning solution. Remove the filter when using certain accessories that require an unobstructed front element or when stacking multiple filters causes vignetting.

Recommendations

Use the filter primarily when shooting outdoors in bright daylight or hazy conditions to reduce UV-related haze and to protect the lens surface. Check for vignetting on extreme wide-angle setups and prefer the slim profile especially on wide-angle lenses.
