Verlengkabel ProXtend M4EXS-005 – 4-polig slank, 5 m, zwart

ProXtend M4EXS-005 — 4-pin slim, 5 m, black is a 4-pin slim extension cable with a five-metre length designed to extend compatible 4-pin connections. The cable's slim profile enables easier routing in tight spaces and cable channels, while the black exterior provides a discreet, neutral appearance. It is intended for extending low-voltage power or signal leads where a moderate extension length and minimal bulk are required.

Advantages

The slim cross-section reduces space requirements and simplifies installation behind equipment racks, under furniture or inside conduits. A five-metre length covers typical extension needs without large coils of excess cable. Standard 4-pin connectors maintain compatibility with devices that use the same pin layout, and the black jacket improves visual integration with most AV and power installations. The lightweight construction supports flexible routing and reduces strain on connector joints.

Suitable for

• Extending 4-pin power or signal leads for audio/video devices
• Routing cables behind AV racks, TVs and media cabinets
• Connecting peripheral components where a low-profile cable is needed
• Temporary or permanent installations that require a 5 m extension

Key specifications

• Cable type: 4-pin slim extension cable
• Length: 5 metres
• Colour: black
• Weight: 0.02 kg
• Profile: low-profile / slim jacket for tight routing

How to use

Align the 4-pin connectors of the extension cable with the matching 4-pin socket and plug until the connector seats firmly. Ensure correct orientation of the pins before insertion to avoid misalignment. Route the cable along the chosen path, avoiding sharp bends and excessive pulling force. If needed, secure the cable with cable ties or adhesive clips to prevent movement and reduce stress on connectors.

Recommendations

Use the cable for low-voltage power or signal extension only and verify compatibility with the device connector pinout prior to connecting. Avoid exposure to moisture, extreme temperatures or mechanical abrasion. For permanent installations, allow service loops and protect the cable where it passes through holes or edges to prevent wear.
