Vivolink PROHDMIDVI5 videokabel-adapter 5 m HDMI DVI-D zwart

The Vivolink PROHDMIDVI5 is a 5 m active video cable adapter that converts HDMI to DVI-D for reliable, high-quality video transmission. Designed for longer runs, the cable combines a compact 7.3 mm diameter with a lightweight 300 g construction and a flexible jacket to accommodate installations with limited bending radius. It is RoHS and CEC compliant and intended for connecting devices with HDMI output to DVI-D displays.

Advantages

The active design supports signal integrity over extended distances and reduces the risk of signal degradation. Its ultra-flexible construction allows routing in tight spaces while maintaining connection stability. Compatibility with standard HDMI and DVI-D interfaces ensures broad device support without the need for additional converters.

Suitable for

• Connecting HDMI source devices (PCs, laptops, media players) to DVI-D monitors or projectors
• Long-distance installations up to 5 m where flexibility and small bending radius are required
• Home and office AV setups requiring reliable digital video transmission

How to use

Connect the HDMI end to the source device and the DVI-D end to the display. If necessary, adjust resolution settings on the source device to match the native resolution of the DVI-D display.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid sharp bends and excessive mechanical stress near the connector ends. If using in permanent installations, secure the cable along its route to prevent accidental tugging and to maintain signal reliability.
