Vivolink PROVGAHDMI5 videokabel-adapter 5 m HDMI VGA (D-Sub) + 3,5 mm + USB Type-A zwart

The Vivolink PROVGAHDMI5 is a 5 m cable adapter that converts HDMI output to VGA (D-Sub) video and carries analogue audio via a 3.5 mm jack. The cable includes a USB Type-A connector for power or auxiliary connection and is designed as a compact, single-cable solution for connecting HDMI sources to VGA displays. It supports resolutions up to 1920x1080 and is RoHS compliant.

Advantages

This HDMI to VGA adapter cable combines video and audio transmission into a single 5 m cable without requiring a separate power supply, saving installation space and reducing cable clutter. Its compact design and lightweight construction make it convenient for AV system integration, presentations and multimedia setups where a direct HDMI-to-VGA connection is needed. The included 3.5 mm audio jack preserves analogue audio routing when connecting to VGA-only displays.

Suitable for

• Connecting HDMI sources (laptops, media players) to VGA monitors or projectors
• Conference rooms and meeting spaces with legacy VGA displays
• Classroom AV setups and presentation environments
• Temporary installations where a simple, space-saving connection is required

If required by the display or source, connect the USB Type-A plug to a USB power source or to the source device for additional power or signalling. Configure the source device’s display output to the appropriate resolution (up to 1920×1080) and verify audio output settings.

Recommendations

For best results, use this cable with devices that support analogue audio output via the 3.5 mm jack and set the source resolution to 1920×1080 or lower. Avoid sharp bends or tight kinks in the cable and keep the run within the specified 5 m length to maintain stable video quality.
