Rittal VX 8806.000 is a freestanding enclosure cabinet with IP55 protection and a grey finish, designed to house servers, network switches and industrial control equipment. The cabinet includes an enclosure frame with one or two front doors, a rear panel, a mounting plate, a roof plate and divided gland plates, providing a complete structure for neat and secure interior installation.

Advantages

The VX series cabinet delivers robust protection against dust and water jets (IP55) and a stable steel construction that supports heavy equipment. Its modular design with front doors, rear panel and removable mounting plate simplifies equipment access and internal wiring. Divided gland plates and a dedicated roof plate help organise cabling and enable safe cable entry without compromising protection.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This cabinet is intended for indoor and sheltered industrial use where IP55 protection is sufficient. It may not be suitable for outdoor exposed installations that require higher ingress protection (for example IP65 or above) or for environments with specific requirements such as explosive atmospheres unless additional approvals and measures are applied.
