Goobay CAT 6A platte patchkabel U/UTP wit 20m

The Goobay CAT 6A Flat Patch Cable U/UTP white 20m is a 20-metre network cable designed for high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. Its flat profile allows discreet installation behind skirting boards, under carpets or wooden floors while U/UTP construction and gold-plated RJ-45 plugs support stable connections and reduced electromagnetic interference.

Advantages

This flat patch cable combines category 6A performance with a slim, space-saving design. High-quality inner conductors and precise RJ-45 connectors with gold plating ensure reliable signal transmission and good contact conductivity. Robust sheath material increases mechanical durability during installation and use.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections for home networks
• Office workstations and networked devices
• Installation behind skirting boards or under floor coverings
• Connecting routers, switches, modems and NAS devices

How to use

Route the flat cable along the desired path, pressing it into place behind skirting boards or under carpets where needed. Ensure connectors are fully inserted into RJ-45 ports on networking equipment until they click. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; keep the cable away from mains power lines to minimise interference. Test the connection after installation to confirm link speed and stability.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the cable for Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet links within its specified length and keep installation clear of strong electromagnetic sources. If a permanent installation is required under flooring, check local building regulations and consider protective conduit in high-traffic areas.
