Netwerkkabel Goobay 0,25m 2xRJ-45 rood Cat6

The Goobay 0.25m networking cable is a Cat6 patch cable with two RJ-45 connectors designed for short Ethernet connections. At 0.25 metres length and with gold-plated contacts, this red cable provides reliable signal transmission and a compact solution for linking devices in tight spaces or for patch panel connections.

Advantages

The cable meets Cat6 specifications for improved bandwidth and reduced crosstalk compared with lower categories. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance contact reliability and corrosion resistance. Its short 0.25 m length minimises cable clutter and is convenient for close-proximity device connections. The unshielded design simplifies handling and installation in typical home and office environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting network devices over short distances (e.g., switch to patch panel)
• Home office or small workspace where minimal cable length is needed
• Temporary or permanent links between nearby routers, switches, and PCs

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6
• Length: 0.25 m
• Connectors: 2× RJ-45 (gold-plated contacts)
• Shielding: Unshielded
• Colour: Red

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices (for example, switch, router, patch panel or PC). Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. Route the cable without excessive bending or tension to maintain performance and avoid damage to the contacts or cable jacket.

Recommendations

Use this short Cat6 cable for direct, short-distance connections where minimal slack is required; avoid using it in environments requiring shielded cabling or where extended lengths are necessary to preserve signal integrity.
