Netwerkkabel Goobay 95452 blauw 0,25 m Cat6 S/FTP

The Goobay 95452 networking cable is a 0.25 m Cat6 S/FTP patch cable with RJ-45 connectors and gold-plated contacts. Designed for stable, high-speed data transmission, it supports transfer rates up to 250 Mbit/s and includes S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference. The blue PVC jacket provides mechanical protection and easy identification in home or company network installations.

Advantages

High-quality inner conductors and gold-plated contacts ensure reliable conductivity and low signal loss. The S/FTP shielding (screened foil over each pair plus overall braid) reduces crosstalk and external interference. Robust cable sheathing increases durability while the compact 0.25 m length suits short patching and tidy setups.

Suitable for

• Short patching between network devices (switch, router, patch panel)
• Home networking where minimal cable length is required
• Server cabinets and rack-mounted equipment with short cable runs
• Workstations and office setups requiring organized cabling

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of your device and the other plug to the corresponding port on the switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure connection. Use the cable for short link connections where the 0.25 m length provides a tidy, low-profile routing. Avoid tight bends and sharp kinks to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources such as unshielded power lines and large electrical motors. Use the S/FTP cable in environments where reduced interference is needed and select longer Cat6 cables if runs exceed the short 0.25 m length.
