Netwerkkabel Goobay CAT 6A patchkabel RJ-45 Cat6a 0,25m grijs

The Goobay CAT 6A Patch Cable is a short, high-performance network cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections. With a length of 0.25 m, S/FTP shielding and copper conductors, this grey Cat6a cable provides stable signal transmission and reduced electromagnetic interference. Both ends are fitted with RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts for good conductivity and durability, suitable for home and office network setups.

Advantages

The cable uses copper conductors (CU) and a halogen-free LSZH sheath, combining safety with effective data transfer. S/FTP shielding improves resistance to crosstalk and external interference, while gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure reliable connectivity and long-term contact quality. Its compact 0.25 m length is convenient for patching in racks, switch-to-device links or short-distance connections where excess cable is undesirable.

Suitable for

• Patching between network equipment in racks and patch panels
• Short connections between switches and servers or desktop devices
• Home and small office Ethernet connections

Key specifications

• Cable type: CAT 6A (Cat6a), S/FTP
• Copper conductor (CU)
• Sheath: Halogen-free (LSZH)
• Length: 0.25 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 — RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network switch or patch panel and the other plug to the device or port you need to link. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Use this short patch cable where minimal cable slack is required to maintain tidy cable management and reduce signal reflections caused by excessive untidy cabling.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors and keep it away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference. Use the 0.25 m length for short-distance patching and reserve longer cables for greater distances.
