How to use

Insert the Comfast CF-WU815N into an available USB port. The adapter will attempt Plug&Play installation using the internal driver; if automatic installation does not complete, follow the manual driver installation instructions included in the user manual. After installation, select the desired 2.4 GHz wireless network from your operating system’s WiFi list and enter the network password using supported encryption (WEP/WPA/WPA2 or WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK). To enable AP mode, configure the adapter as an access point in the provided driver or utility according to the manual.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the adapter with devices located within typical indoor 2.4 GHz range and avoid physical obstructions and sources of interference (microwaves, cordless phones). Ensure your Windows system is updated and install any required drivers from the included manual if Plug&Play does not complete. This adapter is intended for general browsing, streaming and light online tasks rather than high-bandwidth enterprise use.
