ACT blauw 5 meter LSZH SFTP CAT6A MPTL verlengkabel vergrendelingsbeveiliging met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Blue 5m LSZH SFTP CAT6A MPTL extension cable is an MPTL (Modular Plug Terminated Link) cable compliant with ANSI/TIA-568.2-D. It is designed to extend a fixed network connection—for example from a camera or wireless access point to a consolidation point—and can be installed in plenum spaces thanks to its LSZH jacket. The cable uses full copper 26AWG conductors, 50 µin gold-plated RJ-45 contacts and includes a dust cover.

Advantages

This CAT6A S/FTP MPTL extension cable can be fully included in the permanent link while maintaining ANSI/TIA-568.2-D compliance, unlike solutions that use RJ45 couplers. The snagless RJ45 connectors reduce the risk of damage during installation, and the S/FTP construction offers improved protection against electromagnetic interference. The LSZH jacket minimizes smoke and halogen emissions in case of fire.

Suitable for

• Extending fixed network cables for IP cameras
• Extending Ethernet connections for wireless access points
• Patch and consolidation point extensions in office and commercial buildings
• Installations that require low-smoke, zero-halogen (LSZH) cabling

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug of the extension cable to the device or fixed cable you need to extend (for example a camera or access point) and the other RJ-45 plug to the consolidation point or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and locked; the snagless design protects the clip during routing. The cable may be routed through plenum spaces where LSZH-rated cabling is required. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling force to preserve performance.

Recommendations

For best results, verify that the permanent link and connected devices support CAT6A performance and follow site cabling standards when including the MPTL in a permanent link. Do not exceed recommended bend radius and avoid placing the cable next to high-power electrical lines to reduce interference.
