ACT-vervangadapter mini DisplayPort naar DisplayPort voor actieve optische DisplayPort-kabels met afneembare stekker

ACT replacement adapter Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort for DisplayPort Active Optical Cables with detachable connector. This adapter converts a Mini DisplayPort female connection to a DisplayPort male plug and is supplied as a single dark grey unit compatible with detachable-coupler AOC models AK4150–AK4154.

Advantages

The adapter provides a simple, compact way to link devices with Mini DisplayPort outputs to DisplayPort inputs using compatible active optical cables. Its straight Mini DisplayPort (female) and straight DisplayPort (male) connector orientation ensures a direct physical fit without additional bulky adapters. The neutral dark grey finish matches many monitor and laptop setups.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This adapter is intended specifically for use with DisplayPort Active Optical Cables that have a detachable connector and the compatible AK4150–AK4154 series. It is not a standalone cable and will not extend signal distance by itself. It may not be suitable for passive Mini DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort conversions or for setups that require locking latches or angled connector orientations.

How to use

Disconnect the detachable connector section of the compatible ACT DisplayPort Active Optical Cable, align the Mini DisplayPort female end of the adapter with the cable’s Mini DisplayPort male plug or device output as required, and insert until it seats securely. Then connect the DisplayPort male end to the display or docking station. Ensure connections are firm but do not force angled insertion; check device settings for display output configuration if necessary.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

Use this adapter only with compatible ACT detachable DisplayPort Active Optical Cables and handle connectors gently during insertion and removal to preserve the optical cable’s detachable interface and maintain signal integrity.
