ACT zwart 0,15 meter LSZH U/FTP CAT6A datacenter-slimline-patchkabel zonder vergrendelingslip met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Black 0.15m LSZH U/FTP CAT6A Patch Cable Snagless RJ45 is a slimline high-speed Ethernet patch cord designed for data center and network cabinet use. With a 0.15 m length, LSZH jacket and U/FTP shielding, this CAT6A cable delivers reliable transmission while minimizing diameter and improving airflow in densely cabled racks. The snagless RJ45 connectors and gold-plated contacts support frequent mating cycles and stable connections.

Advantages

The slimline design (approx. 3.8 mm diameter) reduces cable bulk compared with regular CAT6A patch cords, enabling a smaller bending radius and improved airflow in server racks and network cabinets. The LSZH jacket limits hazardous smoke and fumes in case of fire. U/FTP shielding provides protection against external interference, and gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability. Despite being available in a slender conductor gauge, the cable supports CAT6A performance for short patch lengths typical in data centers.

Suitable for

• Short patch runs in data centers and server racks
• Tight cable management spaces and high-density panels
• Connections requiring LSZH jacket for safety compliance
• Equipment with RJ45 ports for 10/100/1000/10G Ethernet

Key specifications

• Length: 0.15 m
• Standard: CAT6A
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall unshielded with foil‑shielded pairs)
• Jacket: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Connector: RJ45 snagless, gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Black
• Brand / MPN / EAN: ACT / DC7930 / 8716065518832

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to the network equipment port and the other end to the patch panel or device port. Route the slimline cable through cable management trays or vertical organizers, observing the reduced bending radius compared with thicker patch cords. For best performance, avoid excessive kinks and tight bends and ensure connectors are fully seated in RJ45 ports.

Recommendations

ACT advises limiting PoE bundled installations to a maximum of 24 cables to prevent excessive temperature rise in power-over-Ethernet deployments. Note that very slim conductor gauges can increase attenuation at higher frequencies; keep patch lengths short and follow ANSI TSB-184-A guidance limiting temperature rise to under 15 °C above ambient for the center cable in a bundle.
