FRITZ!Repeater 2400 netwerk-repeater 1733 Mbit/s wit

The FRITZ!Repeater 2400 is a network repeater from AVM designed to extend wireless coverage and improve connection stability in homes and small offices. It supports dual-band operation on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz and offers a maximum combined data transfer rate of 1733 Mbit/s. The device also provides a Gigabit-capable Ethernet LAN port for wired devices and follows common IEEE wireless standards for broad compatibility. Security is provided via WPA2 and WPS to help protect wireless connections.

Advantages

The repeater delivers dual-band performance to reduce interference and increase throughput across compatible devices. Its high maximum data transfer rate supports bandwidth-demanding activities while the integrated Ethernet LAN port enables reliable wired connections for devices that require stable throughput. Compliance with IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac standards ensures compatibility with a wide range of routers and client devices. The compact, white design and light weight make the unit easy to position and integrate into most interiors.

Suitable for

• Extending Wi‑Fi coverage in multi-room apartments and houses
• Improving wireless signal in areas with weak reception such as basements or attics
• Providing a wired Gigabit connection for smart TVs, game consoles or desktop PCs
• Supporting mixed-device networks with older and newer Wi‑Fi standards

Key specifications

• Maximum data transfer rate: 1733 Mbit/s (combined, dual-band)
• Frequency bands: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz
• Ethernet LAN: 10/100/1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Networking standards: IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac
• Security: WPA2, WPS
• Colour: White
• Weight: 0.16 kg

How to use

Plug the FRITZ!Repeater 2400 into a power outlet within range of your existing wireless router, ideally midway between the router and the area with poor reception. Use the WPS button on the repeater and on your router to establish a secure wireless connection automatically, or connect through the web-based setup if manual configuration is preferred. For devices requiring a stable wired link, connect them to the repeater’s Ethernet LAN port using a network cable. After initial setup, verify coverage and reposition the repeater if necessary to achieve optimal signal strength and throughput.

Recommendations

Place the repeater at a location with a strong signal from the router to avoid relaying a weak connection; avoid placing it near large metal objects, microwaves, or other sources of interference. Use the Ethernet LAN port for high-bandwidth devices to ensure the best possible performance.
