Ethernet-kabel ProXtend CAT5e RJ-45 1 m geel

The ProXtend CAT5e U/UTP CU PVC Ethernet Cable is a 1 m yellow network cable designed for reliable data transfer up to 1000 Mbit/s. It uses RJ-45 connectors with gold plating and U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair) copper conductors to provide stable connectivity for home and office networks. The cable is available in copper and copper-clad aluminum variants and comes in multiple colors and lengths to suit different setup needs.

Advantages

This ProXtend CAT5e cable features reinforced strain relief and a snagless latch for connector protection and extended durability. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs improve contact quality and reduce corrosion. The U/UTP design minimises electromagnetic interference for consistent 10/100/1000Base-T(X) performance. PVC jacket and a compact 1 m length make the cable easy to route and install.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, routers and switches in home networks
• Wiring office workstations and network devices
• Patch panel and short-distance interconnections

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 — RJ-45, gold-plated
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X) (CAT5e)
• Conductor: Copper (CU) or copper-clad aluminium variants
• Product colour: Yellow
• Weight: 0.053 kg

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into your network device (router, switch or PC) and the other into the target device. Ensure connectors click into place with the snagless latch. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain; use the reinforced strain relief at the connector ends to reduce the risk of damage. The cable supports automatic negotiation to 10/100/1000 Mbit/s depending on connected equipment.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep cable runs under recommended lengths for CAT5e, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines, and select the copper (CU) variant when maximum signal integrity is required.
