Ethernet-kabel ProXtend CAT5e RJ-45 15 m oranje

The ProXtend CAT5e U/UTP CU PVC Ethernet Cable is a 15 m orange network cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks, it supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and is available in copper and copper-clad aluminum variants. The cable includes strain relief and snagless latch protection for improved durability and reliable physical connection.

Advantages

This CAT5e cable combines U/UTP shielding and copper conductor construction to provide stable gigabit performance for home and office networks. Reinforced strain relief and a snagless latch protect the RJ-45 connectors from damage during installation and daily use. The 15 m length and bright orange color make routing and identification easier in structured cabling setups.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections for PCs, switches and routers
• Home and small office gigabit networks (10/100/1000Base-T)
• Patch panels and structured cabling runs where visible identification is useful
• Short to medium-length horizontal cabling within a single room or between adjacent rooms

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Conductor: Copper (CU) — also available in copper-clad aluminium variants
• Shielding: U/UTP
• Data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s
• Product colour: Orange
• Weight: 0.545 kg

How to use

Route the cable between network devices and insert the RJ-45 connectors firmly into the corresponding Ethernet ports until the latch clicks. Ensure the strain relief section is not bent sharply at connection points. For tidy installations, secure the cable with cable ties or clips and avoid running it near high-voltage power lines to reduce interference.

Recommendations

Use the ProXtend CAT5e cable for standard gigabit Ethernet tasks; for environments requiring higher shielding or 10 Gbit/s speeds, consider selecting a higher category cable (e.g., CAT6/CAT6a) or a fully shielded variant.
