Ethernet-kabel ProXtend CAT6 RJ-45 U/UTP 5M geel

The ProXtend CAT6 U/UTP CCA Ethernet Cable is a 5 m network cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks. Constructed with copper-clad aluminum (CCA) conductors and an AWG of 26, the cable provides a cost-effective solution for Gigabit Ethernet connections. It features U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair with overall unshielded) construction, gold-plated contacts and a yellow PVC jacket for easy identification.

Advantages

The cable combines CCA conductors and AWG 26 sizing to reduce material costs while maintaining compatibility with standard RJ-45 ports and Gigabit speeds up to 1000 Mbit/s. Reinforced strain relief and latch protection increase connector durability and help secure connections during installation. Gold-plated contacts improve corrosion resistance and ensure stable signal transfer.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, routers and switches in home and small office networks
• Patch panels and wall ports where a visible, color-coded cable is helpful
• Short to medium length Gigabit Ethernet links up to 5 m

Key specifications

• Length: 5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 – RJ-45
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Conductor: Copper-clad aluminum (CCA), AWG 26
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded)
• Contacts: Gold-plated
• Colour: Yellow
• Weight: 0.128 kg

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices (for example PC to router or switch). Ensure connectors click into place using the latch protection and avoid excessive bending near the connector and strain relief to maintain signal integrity. For best performance, use within the specified 5 m length and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic interference sources such as large motors or unshielded power lines.

Recommendations

Use this ProXtend CAT6 U/UTP CCA cable for cost-sensitive Gigabit Ethernet connections in home and small office environments; for installations requiring maximum long-term performance or environments with high electromagnetic interference, consider a fully copper (solid or stranded) or shielded cable instead.
