Ethernet-kabel ProXtend CAT6A RJ-45 5m oranje

The ProXtend CAT6A U/UTP CU Ethernet Cable (RJ-45, 5 m) is built for high-speed data transmission up to 10000 Mbit/s. The cable uses 99.9% pure copper conductors with 24 AWG, an LSZH outer jacket for reduced smoke and no halogen emissions, and a snagless design for safe installation. Gold-plated (50µ”) RJ-45 connectors increase contact durability and transmission reliability. The cable supports PoE+ and complies with Cat6a performance requirements, making it suitable for demanding network links.

Advantages

The cable combines pure copper 24 AWG conductors, LSZH sheathing and 50µ" gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to provide stable 10GBase-T performance, enhanced durability and safer behaviour in case of fire. Strain relief and a snagless latch protector reduce connector stress during installation and handling. The product's 5 m length and orange jacket simplify identification in patch panels or cable runs.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T network connections between switches, servers and workstations
• PoE+ powered devices such as access points, IP cameras and VoIP phones
• Patch panels and structured cabling in offices and data rooms

Key specifications

• Length: 5 m
• Conductors: 99.9% pure copper, 24 AWG
• Connector: RJ-45 to RJ-45, 50µ" gold plating
• Data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s (10GBase-T)
• Jacket: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Colour: Orange
• Supports: PoE+
• Weight: 0.2 kg

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (switch, router, NIC or PoE injector) and the other to the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and the latch is engaged. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid placing it under heavy mechanical stress; use the built-in strain relief and secure with appropriate cable management accessories.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep cable runs within recommended 10GBase-T distances for Cat6a and avoid close parallel runs with high-voltage power lines. Use the orange jacket to mark critical links and replace cables that show visible damage to the jacket or connectors.
