How to use

Launch the supplied or compatible scanning software, select desired resolution and color mode, preview the image if available, then execute the scan. Save the resulting file in the preferred format and location on the computer. For thicker or bound items, position the item centrally and avoid applying pressure when closing the lid.

Recommendations

Use 300 dpi for standard document archiving and 600 dpi when higher detail is required for photos or fine graphics. Clean the glass platen periodically with a lint-free cloth and non-abrasive cleaner to maintain image quality. Ensure USB drivers or scanning software are kept up to date for compatibility with the operating system.
