Hypertec 858603-HY Netwerkkabel grijs 2 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Hypertec ProConnectLite S/FTP Cat7 snagless LSZH Grey 2m (model 858603-HY) is a 2-metre Cat7 network cable with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for reliable high-speed wired connections, the cable uses screened foil and braided shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk while the snagless moulded boots protect the connectors during installation. The LSZH jacket in grey provides a low-smoke, halogen-free outer layer suitable for indoor use in residential and office environments.

Advantages

Cat7 S/FTP construction offers improved signal integrity and reduced interference compared with lower-category cables. The snagless RJ-45 connectors protect the plug latch during routing and plugging. The 2 m length is convenient for connecting nearby devices such as routers, switches, desktop PCs and gaming consoles. The LSZH grey jacket minimises harmful emissions in case of fire and is appropriate for enclosed spaces.

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into your network device (router, switch, modem or network card) and the other into the corresponding port of the target device. Ensure connectors click into place. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and heavy compression to maintain signal quality. For wall or structured cabling installations, allow some slack to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Use this Cat7 S/FTP cable for short runs up to 2 m between network equipment in indoor environments. Avoid outdoor exposure and prolonged direct sunlight. For maximum performance, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and avoid excessive bending radii.
