Luidsprekerkabel PSSO 30227910, 2x2,5 mm², 5 m, zwart

Two-core speaker cable PSSO 30227910, 2x2.5 mm², 5 m, black is designed for reliable low-resistance connections between amplifiers or receivers and passive loudspeakers. The cable provides adequate conductor cross-section for typical home audio setups and small installations, allowing clear signal transmission and stable impedance across short to medium runs. Its 5 m length and flexible black jacket make routing and concealment simple in domestic environments.

Advantages

This speaker cable offers a balanced combination of conductor area and flexibility suited to mid-gauge audio connections. The 2.5 mm² conductors reduce resistive losses compared with thinner speaker wires, supporting better bass response and signal integrity at moderate distances. The black outer sheath resists abrasion and hides behind furniture or skirting, while the stranded construction ensures ease of termination and reliable contact with binding posts or banana plugs.

How to use

Strip an appropriate length of the outer jacket and insulation to expose the stranded conductors, taking care not to nick individual strands. Identify polarity markings on the cable or use colour/texture differences to keep positive and negative conductors consistent between amplifier and speaker. Twist or tin the conductor ends if recommended for your connectors, then attach to binding posts, spring clips, or banana plugs ensuring firm contact. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of electrical interference, and secure it with clips or cable ties to prevent strain on the terminations.

Recommendations

For best audio performance, use this 2x2.5 mm² speaker cable for runs of short to moderate length; for significantly longer distances or high-power installations, consider a larger conductor cross-section to minimize voltage drop and power loss. Maintain consistent polarity and avoid running speaker cable in parallel with mains power lines to reduce possible interference.
