Netwerkkabel ProXtend CAT5e U/UTP CCA PVC blauw 15M

The ProXtend CAT5e U/UTP CCA PVC Blue 15M network cable is a 15-metre Ethernet cable constructed with copper-clad aluminum (CCA) strands and AWG 26 conductor size. It features U/UTP unshielded pair construction, gold-plated RJ-45 male connectors on both ends and supports data rates up to 1000 Mbit/s, providing a cost-effective option for wired network connections.

Advantages

The cable combines a copper-clad aluminum conductor to reduce material cost while maintaining conductivity, gold-plated contacts for improved contact reliability and corrosion resistance, and reinforced strain relief with latch protection to increase connector durability during installation and everyday use.

Suitable for

• Home and small office wired Ethernet connections
• Connecting switches, routers, modems and networked devices
• Short to medium length runs up to 15 m within structured cabling

Key specifications

• Length: 15 m
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Conductor: Copper-clad aluminum (CCA), AWG 26
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Connectors: RJ-45 male – RJ-45 male, gold-plated contacts
• Color: Blue
• Weight: 0.26 kg

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connectors into the Ethernet ports of your devices (router, switch, PC or modem) until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, pinching or areas of heavy foot traffic. For optimal performance, keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as large motors or unshielded power cables.

Recommendations

Use this CAT5e U/UTP CCA cable for typical gigabit Ethernet links within the specified 15 m length; for installations requiring maximum long-term performance, high-flex environments, or critical backbone links, consider upgrading to pure copper (solid) Cat5e or Cat6 cables with appropriate shielding.
