Takkenzaag Silky KSI529827 27 cm stalen blad zwart

The Silky KSI529827 27 cm Steel Blade Black pruning saw is a compact handheld saw engineered for woodworking and garden pruning tasks. Its 27 cm high-carbon steel blade provides a balance of cutting length and control, suited for trimming branches and shaping small trees and shrubs. The compact form and black finish make it convenient for transport and storage while offering reliable performance for regular garden maintenance.

Advantages

This pruning saw combines a 27 cm steel blade with a compact, ergonomic profile to deliver precise cuts in confined spaces. The steel blade maintains sharpness for multiple pruning sessions and allows efficient cutting of green and dry wood. The compact size improves maneuverability when working among dense foliage and reduces user fatigue during extended use.

Suitable for

• Pruning small to medium branches in gardens and orchards
• Trimming shrubs and shaping ornamental trees
• Cutting dead wood and performing light carpentry or woodworking outdoors
• Use in confined spaces where longer saws are impractical

Key specifications

• Blade length: 27 cm
• Blade material: steel
• Color/finish: black
• Tool type: handheld pruning saw
• Typical use: cutting wood (green and dry branches)

How to use

Select the branch to be pruned and ensure the work area is clear of bystanders. Position the saw so the teeth engage the wood at a comfortable angle, using steady, controlled strokes to make the cut. For branches thicker than the blade length, make relief cuts or work from both sides to avoid binding. After use, clean sap and debris from the blade and store the saw in a dry place to prevent corrosion.

Recommendations

Wear appropriate hand protection and eye protection when pruning. For best results, keep the blade clean and periodically sharpen or replace it according to wear. Use the saw for its intended purpose—pruning and cutting wood—and avoid cutting nails, wire, or other materials that can damage the teeth.
