Keystone USB-C Female insert by VivoLink (PROKEYUSBCFM2W) is a white keystone-format USB-C female socket module designed for installation into compatible wall plates, patch panels or surface mount boxes. The module provides a tidy, fixed USB-C connection point for computers, displays, mobile devices and AV equipment where a dedicated panel or wall port is required. Its keystone form factor allows quick snap-in mounting into standard keystone openings, delivering a professional finish for desktop, office and conference-room installations.

Advantages

This keystone USB-C female insert simplifies installation by using the standardized keystone format, which fits most keystone wall plates and panels. The white finish provides a neutral aesthetic for office and residential environments, while the fixed female socket offers a stable connection point that reduces wear on device ports and cables. The module supports modular system design, making it easy to replace or reconfigure ports without altering wall infrastructure.

Suitable for

• Desktop workstations needing a dedicated USB-C wall or panel port
• Office and meeting rooms with AV installations requiring clean cable routing
• Patch panels and keystone wall plates in IT and AV closets
• Residential installations where a flush mounted USB-C port is preferred

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB-C female (keystone insert)
• Form factor: Keystone module compatible with standard keystone openings
• Finish: White
• Intended use: Panel or wall plate mounting for fixed USB-C access

How to use

Insert the VivoLink USB-C keystone module into a compatible keystone opening on a wall plate, patch panel or surface box until it snaps into place. Route the connected USB-C cable or internal extension to the back of the plate or panel according to the installation practice for your enclosure. Use the installed female socket as the external connection point for USB-C devices and cables; when replacement or reconfiguration is needed, simply remove the module from the keystone slot and install a different keystone insert.

Recommendations

Ensure the wall plate or patch panel is rated to accept standard keystone modules. For AV and data applications, use quality USB-C cables and, if necessary, compliant internal extensions to maintain signal integrity. Avoid excessive force when inserting cables into the socket to prolong connector life.
