Vivolink PRODVIAM7.5 DVI-kabel 7,5 m DVI-D zwart

The Vivolink PRODVIAM7.5 is a 7.5 m DVI-D cable designed for reliable high-quality video transmission. Its rugged external armouring protects the cable from mechanical damage and allows use in demanding or outdoor environments. The cable is humidity- and corrosion-resistant and features DVI-D connectors on both ends for a secure digital video connection. Compliant with RoHS and finished in black, this cable is intended for connecting devices with DVI outputs where durability is required.

Advantages

Armoured outer jacket provides enhanced protection against pressure and mechanical impact while maintaining signal integrity. Humidity-proof and corrosion-proof construction makes the cable suitable for outdoor and industrial installations. DVI-D connectors on both ends ensure a stable digital video link. The 7.5 m length offers flexibility for most mid-range installations without additional repeaters.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, monitors and projectors equipped with DVI-D ports
• Outdoor and industrial installations requiring extra cable protection
• Environments with elevated humidity or risk of mechanical stress

How to use

Connect one DVI-D connector to the source device (for example a computer or media player) and the other DVI-D connector to the display device (monitor, projector). Ensure connectors are aligned with the DVI port before insertion to avoid damaging pins. Route the armoured cable along the installation path, avoiding sharp bends below the cable's minimum bend radius. For outdoor runs, secure the cable with appropriate clips or ties and protect termination points from direct exposure to weather where possible.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid excessive bending or kinking of the cable and keep connectors free of debris. If the installation requires longer distances or signal amplification, use appropriate repeaters or signal extenders compatible with DVI-D standards.
