Vivolink PROUSBCBMM15 USB-kabel USB 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1) 15 m USB-C USB-B zwart

The Vivolink PROUSBCBMM15 is a 15 m USB cable with USB-C to USB-B connectors, supporting USB 3.2 Gen 1 (up to 5 Gbit/s). It is designed to connect modern USB-C-only laptops to USB3.0/USB2.0 devices such as cameras, printers or audio interfaces, providing a long-reach option for meeting rooms and professional setups.

Advantages

The cable converts a USB-C port to a USB-B device connection while maintaining compatibility with both USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 protocols. With a 15 m length and USB 3.2 Gen 1 performance, it enables high-speed data transfer and flexible placement of equipment in conference rooms or workspaces. The black jacket offers a discreet appearance suitable for professional installations.

• Connecting USB-C laptops to USB-B devices (e.g., cameras, printers, audio interfaces)
• Meeting rooms, conference setups and presentation systems
• Professional and home workstations requiring extended cable length

How to use

Connect the USB-C end to the laptop or host device and the USB-B end to the target peripheral. The cable supports automatic negotiation between USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 modes depending on the connected device. Ensure both ends are firmly seated; no external power or drivers are typically required for standard USB devices.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and keep the cable clear of sources of strong electromagnetic interference. When using at maximum length, verify device compatibility with USB 3.2 Gen 1 speeds; if a device does not support USB 3.0, the connection will fall back to USB 2.0 speeds.
