Keystone-bus GOOBAY Cat5 UTP met LSA-aansluiting, wit

GOOBAY Keystone jack Cat5 UTP with LSA connection in white is a modular connector designed for Cat5 unshielded twisted-pair structured cabling. It provides a compact keystone form factor that fits standard patch panels, wall plates and keystone housings. The jack supports voice and data transmission up to Cat5 performance and uses an LSA (insulation displacement) termination for quick, tool-assisted conductor connection without separate screw terminals.

Advantages

This keystone jack offers a space-saving, standardized interface for network terminations and replacements. The LSA connection enables fast and reliable IDC termination of Cat5 UTP conductors, reducing installation time and ensuring consistent contact pressure. Its white finish matches common faceplates and mounting hardware, and the modular keystone format allows simple insertion and removal in compatible outlets.

Suitable for

• Terminating Cat5 UTP cabling in wall plates and patch panels
• Small office and home network voice and data connections
• Replacement or expansion of existing keystone outlets
• Structured cabling installations requiring IDC/LSA termination

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5 (unshielded twisted pair)
• Termination type: LSA / IDC (insulation displacement contact)
• Form factor: Keystone module compatible with standard panels and faceplates
• Colour: White
• Application: Voice and data up to Cat5 performance

How to use

Prepare the Cat5 UTP cable by stripping the outer sheath to expose the four twisted pairs and untwist pairs only as much as needed for termination. Insert each conductor into the corresponding slot of the LSA termination according to the wiring scheme being used (T568A or T568B). Use an appropriate LSA punch-down tool to press the conductors into the IDC contacts and trim excess wire. Once terminated, snap the keystone jack into the desired faceplate, patch panel or module housing and connect patch cords as required to complete the network connection.

Recommendations

Keep untwist length minimal to preserve signal integrity and follow standard wiring schemes for consistent network performance. Use a proper punch-down tool for reliable IDC terminations and verify connections with a cable tester after installation.
