Netwerkkabel Goobay 96094 grijs 100 m Cat6a S/FTP

The Goobay 96094 networking cable is a 100 m Cat6a S/FTP cable engineered for reliable, high-speed data transmission. It features high-quality inner conductors, robust sheathing and precise shielding to minimise electromagnetic interference and maintain a stable network connection. The grey jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for home or office installations.

Advantages

The Cat6a S/FTP construction offers improved signal integrity and reduced crosstalk compared with lower categories. Durable outer sheathing increases mechanical protection during installation and operation. The 100 m length supports longer runs without the need for additional patching, making the cable practical for wiring rooms, racks or office spaces.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet networks in homes and small offices
• Structured cabling between patch panels and network switches
• High-speed data transmission where reduced interference is required

How to use

Measure and cut the required cable length, route the cable through conduits or cable trays as needed, and terminate both ends with appropriate RJ45 connectors or keystone jacks following Cat6a termination standards. Ensure proper handling of the foil and braid shielding during termination to maintain the S/FTP performance. Test the completed links with a network cable tester to verify continuity and performance.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid sharp bends and prolonged mechanical stress on the cable, maintain separation from strong electrical sources to reduce interference, and use certified Cat6a connectors and testing equipment to ensure expected performance.
