Netwerkkabel Goobay CAT 6 patchkabel RJ-45 Cat6 1m rood

The Goobay CAT 6 Patch Cable is a 1 m network cable designed for reliable, high-speed data transmission. It features S/FTP shielding and aluminium/copper-plated inner conductors to reduce interference and ensure stable signal transfer. The cable is a straight-through type with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and comes in red for easy identification in installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding minimises electromagnetic interference, while aluminium/copper plating on the conductors improves conductivity and signal integrity. Robust cable sheathing and precisely fitted RJ-45 plugs provide mechanical durability and secure connections. The 1 m length is suitable for short runs between devices in home or office network setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers in home networks
• Patch connections in office racks and patch panels
• Short cable runs between network devices in small server rooms

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6
• Length: 1 m
• Cable type: Straight-through
• Shielding: S/FTP
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Conductor plating: Aluminium/copper
• Colour: Red

How to use

Plug an RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other end into a switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension to maintain signal quality and prolong cable life.

Recommendations

For optimal performance keep cable lengths within recommended Ethernet standards for Cat6 runs and avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines to reduce interference.
