ACT grijs 5 meter U/UTP CAT6 patchkabel met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Grey 5 meter U/UTP CAT6 patch cable with RJ45 connectors is a shielded-unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) network cable designed for standard Ethernet installations. It has AWG#24 conductors, a PVC sheath, and a professional grey (RAL 7045) finish. The cable supports speeds up to 1 Gbps and is suitable for connecting computers, switches, routers and other network devices in home and office environments.

Advantages

Equipped with RJ45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts for reliable signal transmission, the cable combines flexibility and durability for everyday use. The AWG#24 conductors and CAT6 specification provide improved performance over lower-category patch cords, while the 5 m length offers convenient reach between typical workstation and network equipment placements.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers in home networks
• Office desktop and patch panel connections
• Small server rooms and network closets
• Temporary or permanent Ethernet links up to 1 Gbps

Key specifications

• Category: CAT6
• Cable type: U/UTP (unshielded overall)
• Length: 5 m
• Conductor size: AWG#24
• Sheath material: PVC
• Colour: Grey (RAL 7045)
• Connectors: RJ45 with gold-plated contacts
• Maximum supported speed: up to 1 Gbps

How to use

Plug the RJ45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other end into a switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, heavy loads or prolonged exposure to heat to preserve performance and longevity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable alongside high-voltage power lines and maintain bends at radii larger than the cable diameter. Use for network links within its 1 Gbps capability and replace if the sheath or connectors show visible damage.
