Hypertec 858627-HY netwerkkabel blauw 2 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Hypertec ProConnectLite S/FTP Cat7 snagless LSZH Blue 2m (model 858627) is a 2-metre network patch cable designed to meet Cat7 standards. It features S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends to support high-speed data transmission while minimising electromagnetic interference. The cable's blue LSZH jacket identifies it easily in installations and reduces harmful smoke emission in case of fire.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding provides improved protection against external interference and crosstalk compared with unshielded cables. The snagless design protects the RJ-45 connector clip during installation and handling. Conformity to Cat7 specifications supports higher bandwidth applications and more stable connections. The LSZH outer jacket lowers smoke and toxic fume output in confined spaces.

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network device (router, switch, NIC) and the other to the corresponding port on the destination device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the clip clicks to establish a secure connection. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling on the cable; maintain a bend radius appropriate for patch cables to preserve performance.

Recommendations

Use this Cat7 S/FTP cable for short patch runs and point-to-point connections within racks or between nearby devices. For maximum performance, pair with compatible shielded network equipment and avoid running the cable parallel to sources of strong electrical noise.
