IP-camera Instar IN-8815 4K PoE WLAN – 4K-resolutie, PoE-ondersteuning, WLAN-connectiviteit

The Instar IN-8815 4K PoE WLAN is an IP camera that provides ultra-high-definition 4K video for indoor and outdoor surveillance. It supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) for single-cable data and power delivery, and includes Wi‑Fi connectivity for flexible placement where cabling is impractical. The camera is intended for monitoring homes, offices, and small business premises where detailed image capture and reliable network integration are required.

Advantages

The camera records at 4K resolution, delivering clear, high-detail images useful for identification and evidence. PoE simplifies installation by allowing power and data over a single Ethernet cable while Wi‑Fi enables wireless installation when needed. The device is compatible with standard network setups and typical surveillance software, offering versatile integration options. Weather-resistant design and adaptive image processing provide consistent performance across varying lighting conditions.

Suitable for

• Home security and perimeter monitoring
• Small office and retail surveillance
• Entryways, driveways and parking areas
• Rooms or locations where wired and wireless connectivity options are required

Key specifications

• Resolution: 4K (ultra-high-definition) video capture
• Network interfaces: Ethernet with PoE support and IEEE 802.11 Wi‑Fi
• Mounting: suitable for indoor and outdoor mounting with weather-resistant housing
• Video features: high-detail image capture and adaptive processing for varied lighting
• Power: supports PoE for single-cable power and data delivery; also supports local power via standard adapter where applicable
• Integration: compatible with common IP camera software and network recording systems

How to use

Install the Instar IN-8815 at the chosen location using appropriate mounts and weather sealing for outdoor use. For PoE operation, connect the camera to a PoE-capable network switch or injector using category cabling; the same cable will provide both network connection and power. For wireless operation, complete the camera setup through the onboard configuration interface or the manufacturer's setup application, connect to the local Wi‑Fi network, and assign a network address or use DHCP. Configure video settings, motion detection, and recording destinations using the camera’s web interface or compatible NVR/software.

Recommendations

Place the camera to cover primary approach routes and areas of interest, at a height that minimizes tampering and maximizes field of view. Use PoE where stable wired power and network connectivity are preferred; choose Wi‑Fi for locations without Ethernet access but ensure strong signal strength. Regularly check firmware updates and secure network access with strong passwords and network segmentation to maintain reliable operation.
