Beveiligingscamera Instar IN-8815 4K met LAN PoE en WLAN

The Instar IN-8815 4K security camera provides high-resolution video capture with both wired LAN (Power over Ethernet) and wireless (WLAN) connectivity, enabling flexible placement and reliable network access. Designed for home and small business surveillance, the camera delivers detailed imagery for monitoring entrances, indoor rooms, and outdoor areas when installed under appropriate conditions. The unit supports continuous recording and remote viewing over local networks or the internet, making it suitable for steady oversight and incident review.

Advantages

The camera combines 4K resolution with PoE support to simplify cabling while ensuring power and data over a single Ethernet connection; WLAN provides an alternative when a wired feed is impractical. High-resolution imagery improves identification of faces and objects, and network compatibility allows integration with common NVRs and remote-access apps. Robust image quality and flexible connectivity options make installation adaptable to diverse environments.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Monitoring home entrances, living areas and garages
• Small business surveillance of offices, retail spaces and storage rooms
• Perimeter overview of property when mounted in appropriate outdoor locations
• Remote viewing and recording for incident documentation and evidence

Key specifications

How to use

Mount the camera at the chosen location following the manufacturer’s mounting guidelines and ensure the device is protected from direct exposure to severe weather if used outdoors. For PoE operation, connect the Ethernet cable to a PoE switch or injector to provide simultaneous power and network connectivity. For WLAN operation, follow the camera’s setup procedure to join a secure Wi‑Fi network and verify signal strength at the installation site. Use the supplied software or compatible network video recorder to configure recording schedules, motion detection, and remote-access credentials; test live view and playback to confirm settings.

Recommendations

Position the camera to avoid direct sunlight into the lens and ensure stable network connectivity for reliable remote access. When using WLAN, verify adequate Wi‑Fi signal strength or use a PoE connection where higher bandwidth and uninterrupted power are required. Apply regular firmware updates and secure remote access with strong passwords and network security measures.
